Stanwood Hotel and Saloon - Stanwood WA Real Haunted Places

The Stanwood hotel and saloon's haunted reputation is well known among the community and neighboring towns. In a single year, ten paranormal investigations occurred at the hotel. Footsteps can be heard on the upper levels when no one is around, and an apparition of a woman has been known to appear before guests and staff. One time surveillance tape caught the image of a hazy cloud moving behind the bar. It is believed the cloud belonged to an apparition named Marshall. Mediums have also communicated with a spirit named Margret. Margret is believed to have been a manager of the hotel or a madame to prostitutes. Other apparitions include a partying ghost named Charlie, a young redheaded man named Carl and a beautiful brunette woman named Lily. Mediums are unsure why a large number of spirits have remained at the hotel, but they have theorized that a lot of unreported violence and murders occurred. Investigators cite room nine as emitting a disturbing aura. Throughout the building EVP as well as EMF readings have been off the charts, indicating incredibly high levels of paranormal activity.
